Most Popular
Browse the most play tracks, with the most popular tracks presented first.
Track popularity is calculated using a time-decaying scale. Each counted playback is given decreasing value over time, giving bias to tracks that people are listening to more recently. In this way, this list reflects what people are actually listening to within the past couple weeks and avoids the list becoming static and filled with years old tracks.

10 Random Songs

Navigating Library Views
All menu context which presents a view of the music library for browsing and selection are used in the same manner.
Special Functions
The first three menu items are always special functions for handing the available items in the current view.
- Play Random Track
- Play All Tracks
- Play All Tracks in Random Order
These functions are always executed in the context of the current view. Selecting a function will begin the action identified in its title and the menu session will end.
Navigation and Selection
Items available for selection in the current view are listed together. Except for individual songs, the type of item is always identified with a prefix:
- Genre
- Artist
- Album (also used for collections associated by subject matter only)
- Song title (implied when no prefix is included)
Selecting a genre, artist or album item will navigate deeper into the heiarchy. All items of all types within the selected object are presented. For example, selecting an Artist will display all associated Album titles as well as all tracks credited to the selected artist.
When navigating through multiple levels of the heiarchy, the entire selection history is considered and applied when presenting the current view. For example, if selecting an Artist presents a mix Album featuring tracks from several artists, selecting the Album will only present tracks on the album that are credited to the previously selected artist.
Items are grouped by type and presented alphabetical order. A special case is when a view is produced from an Album selection, in which case tracks are presented in order of the track list identified in the library.
Selecting a song title will immediately begin playback of the track and the menu session will end.
